Use of Cookies
To enhance your experience on the Sites, our servers use "cookies" to store users'
preferences. Cookies are messages sent between our servers and your browser, which are
saved as text files on your computer. Cookies, by themselves, do not tell us your email
address or other personally identifiable information unless you choose to provide this

Users may customize their browsers to not accept cookies. If you choose to not have your
browser accept cookies from the Sites, it is possible that some parts of the Sites will not
function properly, and you will not be able to experience personalized visits to the Sites
or subscribe to service offerings on the Sites.
The New York Coalition of Social Smokers, Inc. contracts with a third-party Web
analytics service to analyze the traffic patterns on our Sites, such as the frequency with
which our users visit various parts of our Sites. These technical methods may involve the
transmission of information either directly to us or to another party authorized by us to
collect information on our behalf. We also use these technical methods in HTML e-mails
that we send our guests to determine whether our guests have opened those e-mails
and/or clicked on links in those e-mails. The information generated by these technical
methods may be collected in a form that is personally identifiable.
Additionally, we may share web site usage information about visitors to our Sites who
have received a targeted promotional campaign, with a reputable third-party advertising
company for the purpose of targeting future campaigns and upgrading visitor information
used in reporting statistics. For this purpose, we and our third-party advertising company
note some of the pages you visit on our Sites through the use of pixel tags (also called
clear gifs).
